eagle harbour cliff house representation

West Vancouver, British Columbia / Winter 2021

Designed by Campos Studio, the Eagle Harbour Cliff House sits on a cliff edge of a small community in West Vancouver. The volumes of the house form a dialog with their landscape, creating a sense of harmony with the land into which they are built. The heavy lower volume acts as an extension of the cliff, while the lighter top creates a visual and spacial transition from rock to trees.

I have had the honour to work on the graphic and physical model representation for this project while my time as an intern at Campos Studio.

Made of foam board and recycled paper paste, the site model tries to capture the landscape’s atmosphere. Damp greens and expressive creases in the model’s fabric relate to the site’s texture, light and moisture.
